EXPERIENCE

ELITE URGENT CARE AND FAMILY PRACTICE CENTERS
Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of facility which specialized in urgent care, occupational medicine, and general family practice.  Patient population was composed of infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with acute and chronic diseases. Performed minor trauma care and outpatient surgical procedures when indicated. Additional services included workman’s comp initial and follow-up visits, occupational medicine, employee drug testing and physical exams, X-Ray diagnostics, blood tests, and travel vaccines.

RELIANT IMMEDIATE CARE MEDICAL GROUP/URGENT CARE CENTER
Practiced as a Staff Physician in an Urgent Care Facility which specialized in urgent care and occupational medicine.  Patient population was composed of infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with acute and chronic diseases. Performed minor trauma care and outpatient surgical procedures when indicated. Additional services included workman’s comp initial and follow-up visits, occupational medicine, employee drug testing and physical exams, X-Ray diagnostics, blood tests, and travel vaccines.

ELITE MEDICAL COSMETIC CENTERS
Medical Director of a high end Beverly Hills cosmetic office specializing in Phlebology and non-surgical cosmetic medicine.  Practice had 3 satellite offices. Clinical duties include providing medical consultation, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment to patients with peripheral vascular disease. Diagnostic evaluations include performing color flow duplex ultrasound scanning.  Treatment modalities include compression sclerotherapy for medical and/or cosmetic purposes; comprehensive use of duplex-guided Transcatheter infusion for venous disease complicated by perforator incompetence, Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT), Photoderm, and Altus Long Wavelength (1064 nm.) laser therapy; official physician instructor for Diomed Systems in EVLT training for physicians from the mid-West to West Coast.  Other procedures included liposculpture with tumescent anesthesia micro-liposuction and SmartLipo laser Lipolysis with omplete evaluation and treatment for all body parts. According to Cynosure this LA practice was one of the most successful they had seen (per Giff Kabat, Cynosure regional sales manager). Facial cosmetics included Botox and filler implant treatments. Lastly, provided physician supervised weight loss program.  Administrative duties include hiring and management of all personnel, evaluation of all referral sources including direct marketing campaigns, analysis of Profit and Loss statements and strategic decision making for corporate enterprise.

RESEDA FAMILY PRACTICE AND URGENT CARE CENTER
Medical Director of an outpatient Family Practice office.  Patient population consisted of adult and geriatric patients with acute and chronic disease.  Performed extensive diagnostic testing such as Ultrasound testing, EKG’s, Cardiac Echos, and Carotid Doppler tests for chronic disorders including diabetes, hypertension, cardiac conditions, and chronic pain. Provided medical care and physical therapy to patients with musculoskeletal disease and chronic pain conditions. Also performed minor surgical procedures when indicated.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD MEDICAL CENTER
Medical Director of an outpatient Family Practice office.  Patient population consisted of adult and geriatric patients with acute and chronic disease.  Performed extensive diagnostic testing such as Ultrasound testing, EKG’s, Cardiac Echos, and Carotid Doppler tests for chronic disorders including diabetes, hypertension, cardiac conditions, and chronic pain. AMERICAN VEIN INSTITUTE
Medical Director of large national practice specializing in Phlebology.  Clinical duties include providing medical consultation, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment to patients with peripheral vascular disease. Diagnostic evaluations include performing pneumoplethysmography, photoplethysmography(light rheography), and bi-directional arterial and venous Doppler studies, and duplex ultrasound scanning.  Treatment modalities include compression sclerotherapy for medical and/or cosmetic purposes; comprehensive use of duplex-guided Transcatheter infusion for venous disease complicated by perforator incompetence, Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT), Photoderm, and Altus Long Wavelength (1064 nm.) laser therapy.  Administrative duties include procurement of office space, negotiations of office leases, furnishing of office space, hiring, training, and management of all personnel, evaluation of all referral sources including direct marketing campaigns, analysis of Profit and Loss statements and strategic decision making for corporate enterprise.

SEMINARY ROAD URGENT CARE AND FAMILY PRACTICE CENTER
Practiced as a family physician in primary care setting.  Practice included adult medicine, pediatric care, gynecological care, and geriatric care.  Performed minor office surgery and procedures (e.g. electrocautery, cryosurgery, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and minor trauma care).  First clinical investigations of minoxidil 2% for Alopecia Androgenetica.

FIRST CHOICE MEDICAL AND REHAB CENTER
Provided medical care and physical therapy to patients with musculoskeletal disease ranging from cervical neck to lumbar spine.  Evaluation included radiographic studies, MRI studies.  Treatment modalities included physical therapy, chiropractic therapy, ultrasound and interferential treatment.  Pioneered the first center in the U.S.A. to use VAX-D therapy for LS disc disease; performed initial studies to document efficacy of treatment for Disc herniation and bulging.

MEDICAL AND REHABILITATION SERVICES
Medical Director for large rehabilitation company which provided physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to several nursing homes with in-house staffing and facilities.
